Cost depends on number of teeth — see full breakdown here
Most veneers in Gurgaon are placed by general dentists. Dr. Jyoti Singh is an MDS Prosthodontist — a specialist in how teeth, bite, and facial proportions work together. Every case is evaluated for occlusion and enamel thickness before any preparation. We guide you step by step. Nothing is rushed.

Veneers solve specific problems. If your concern is in this list, you may be a candidate. If not, we will tell you which treatment actually helps.
Teeth That Won’t Whiten
Fluorosis, tetracycline staining, or internal discolouration. Whitening works on surface stains only. Internal stains need veneers.
Very common in Gurgaon & HaryanaChipped or Broken Front Tooth
Single tooth damage from trauma. A veneer restores the original shape exactly. If the chip is deep and affects the nerve, root canal may be needed first.
Composite or Emax — case dependentGap Between Front Teeth
Midline gap closed without braces. Works when the gap is small. Large gaps may need aligners first.
Emax — after bite assessmentWorn Down Front Teeth
Teeth worn from grinding look short or flat. Veneers restore length. But grinding must be managed first — otherwise veneers will fracture.
Emax CAD + night guard protocolSmall or Oddly Shaped Teeth
Microdontia or teeth that look too small for your face. Veneers add volume and reshape to match your facial proportions.
Emax Press or CADMildly Uneven Teeth Without Braces
Small rotations or mild crowding in adults. Veneers correct perception of alignment — after bite assessment confirms it is safe.
Emax — occlusion check first“In my clinical experience, fluorosis is extremely common among patients from Gurgaon and surrounding Haryana areas. The groundwater fluoride levels here are higher than many parts of India. These patients come having already tried whitening — sometimes twice. Whitening cannot fix fluorosis. The discolouration is inside the tooth, not on the surface. Emax or Zirconia veneers are the right solution.”
Dr. Jyoti Singh · MDS Prosthodontist · Center for Dental Implants & Esthetics, GurgaonSee Your New Smile Before We Touch Your Teeth
This is the step most clinics skip. We do not. Before any preparation, we build your proposed smile in wax on your teeth. You see it, approve it, and only then we proceed.
Dr. Jyoti Singh walks through the veneer procedure. Real patient results from Sector 51 and Sector 74 clinics, Gurgaon.
-
01
No drilling at this stage
Wax is built on top of existing teeth. Nothing is cut or removed. Completely reversible at this point.
-
02
See your smile in your own mouth
Not on a screen. In your mouth, in natural light, on your actual face. The most accurate preview possible.
-
03
Request changes before we build
Want teeth longer? Different shape? Change it now at no extra cost before any irreversible step.
-
04
Only then do we proceed
Once you approve shape and shade, we move to lab fabrication and preparation. Zero surprises.
Types of Dental Veneers — What Each One Is Made Of
The material determines how your veneers look, how long they last, and how much tooth preparation is needed.
Composite Veneers
Direct (1 visit) or Lab-fabricated- Tooth-coloured resin material
- Direct: sculpted in-clinic in one visit
- Lab version: better finish, more natural
- More porous — can stain with chai and coffee
- Easy to repair if chipped
- Good for single tooth fixes or tight budget
IPS e.max Veneers
Ivoclar Vivadent Switzerland · Gold Standard- Lithium disilicate ceramic — global benchmark
- Translucent like real enamel — most natural look
- Highly stain resistant — chai and coffee do not affect it
- 0.3–0.5mm enamel preparation required
- Press version: hand-pressed, excellent aesthetics
- CAD version: milled digitally, highest precision
Zirconia Veneers
For very dark or discoloured teeth- Two-layer: opaque zirconia base + translucent outer layer
- Blocks very dark underlying colour completely
- Needed for severe fluorosis, old RCT, tetracycline staining
- Emax alone may not mask very dark teeth — zirconia does
- Excellent durability and stain resistance
- Slightly more preparation than Emax
No-prep veneers: Remove less than 0.3mm of enamel — sometimes nothing at all. Only possible when teeth have enough natural space and the desired shape change is minor. Not every patient qualifies. Dr. Jyoti assesses this at consultation. For complete pricing, see our veneers cost in Gurgaon page.

We guide you through every step. Nothing happens without your approval. Here is exactly what to expect and why each step matters.
-
01
Bite and Diagnosis — Before Anything Else
Dr. Jyoti evaluates how your upper and lower teeth meet before looking at aesthetics. Bite position determines what shape and length is safe for your veneers. Skipping this is the most common reason veneers fail early — both fracture and debonding trace back to undiagnosed bite issues.
-
02
Smile Design and Shade Selection
Tooth length, width, lip line, midline, and facial proportions are all measured. Shade is selected to match your skin tone — not just a standard chart. For Indian patients, this step matters more than most clinics acknowledge.
-
03
Wax Preview — You Approve Before We Drill
Dental wax builds your proposed smile on your teeth. No anaesthesia. No cutting. You see the shape in your mouth in real light. Request changes here at no extra cost. Only after you approve do we move forward.
- More reliable than Digital Smile Design — DSD shows a screen image, wax mock-up is in your actual mouth
- You check shape, length, and shade on your own face
-
04
Tooth Preparation — Minimal and Measured
Local anaesthesia given. Front surface reduced 0.3–0.5mm for standard veneers. Depth is measured, not estimated. We stay within enamel wherever possible — bonding to enamel lasts longer than bonding to dentin. Temporary veneers protect your teeth while the lab works.
-
05
Lab Fabrication — 7 to 10 Days
Impressions go to a precision aesthetic lab with detailed shade and shape instructions. IPS e.max takes 7–10 working days. The lab quality directly affects your final result — this is not a step we compromise on.
-
06
Final Bonding — Bite Checked Again
Veneers tried in your mouth before permanent bonding. You approve shade and shape. Minor adjustments made if needed. Permanent cement applied. Bite checked one final time after placement.
“The quality of bonding matters as much as the quality of the veneer itself. If we are bonding to enamel, the bond strength is excellent and predictable. If too much enamel is removed and we end up bonding to dentin, the bond is weaker and more likely to fail over time. Conservative preparation is not just about preserving tooth structure — it actually makes the veneer last longer.”
Dr. Jyoti Singh · MDS Prosthodontist · Center for Dental Implants & Esthetics, GurgaonHow Long Do Veneers Last?
Lifespan depends on material, how veneers were planned, and how you maintain them.
- Can stain with tea, coffee
- Easy and cheap to repair
- Good for quick single-tooth fix
- Better finish than direct
- Still porous vs ceramic
- Good budget full-smile option
- Highly stain resistant
- Maintains colour for decades
- Gold standard aesthetics
- Excellent stain resistance
- Best for dark stained teeth
- Very durable
Evidence: A systematic review in the Journal of Dentistry (Layton & Walton, 2019) found IPS e.max veneers had cumulative survival rates of 91–94% at 10 years. Primary failure causes were fracture in undiagnosed bruxism patients and debonding from over-preparation — both preventable with correct planning. Source: Elsevier Journal of Dentistry.
Veneers vs Whitening vs Braces vs Crowns
Veneers are one solution. Not always the right one. This helps you understand when each treatment makes sense.
| Your Problem | Veneers | Alternative | Honest Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|
| Yellow or stained teeth | Works well | Teeth whitening | Whitening first for surface stains. Fluorosis or internal staining — veneers. |
| Significant misalignment | Not appropriate | Clear aligners | Veneers cannot fix actual tooth position. Aligners first. |
| Single damaged tooth | Good option | Crown if badly damaged | Veneer when tooth is healthy. Crown when structurally compromised. |
| Gap between front teeth | Depends on gap size | Aligners for large gap | Small gap — veneers work well. Large gap — aligners first. |
| Post root canal tooth | Usually not right | Crown after RCT | RCT teeth need full coverage. A veneer does not provide that. |
| Minor chip needing quick repair | Good option | Composite bonding | Very small chip — bonding. Larger repair needing longevity — veneer. |
Are You a Good Candidate for Veneers?
Not everyone who wants veneers should get them right away. Here is what a correct evaluation looks at.
Ready for Veneers
- Healthy teeth and gums — no active decay or gum disease
- Sufficient enamel remaining on front surface
- Teeth mostly in alignment — minor issues only
- Discolouration that whitening cannot fix
- Chips, gaps, or shape concerns on front teeth
- Teeth appear worn but bite is stable
- Realistic expectations
Address This First
- Active gum disease — treat gums before veneers
- Significant tooth decay — fillings or crowns first
- Heavy grinding without a night guard plan — veneers will fracture
- Severe misalignment — aligner treatment first
- Very little enamel remaining — bonding may not hold
- Teeth needing root canal — crowns are more appropriate
“I see patients who come specifically asking for veneers, and after evaluation I advise aligners first. Or gum treatment. Sometimes I tell them whitening will solve the problem for a fraction of the cost. My job is not to sell veneers. It is to find the right solution for the right problem.”

Patients from DLF Phase 5, Sector 51, and Nirvana Country, Gurgaon.
“I had yellow and patchy teeth since school. I tried whitening 2 times but nothing changed. Dr Jyoti explained that it was fluorosis and whitening will not work. She showed me a trial smile before starting treatment. That gave me confidence. Now my teeth look clean and natural, not fake white.”
“I had a gap in my front teeth and always felt conscious while smiling. I didn’t want braces. At Center for Dental Implants & Esthetics, they suggested veneers after checking my bite. The best part was I could see my smile before final treatment. Now I smile freely in photos.”
“I work in a client-facing role and my teeth were uneven and stained. Dr Jyoti did a detailed evaluation and explained what veneers can and cannot fix. That honesty was important for me. The result is very natural. Nobody can tell I have veneers.”

Bite Analysis Before Aesthetics
Occlusion evaluated before design begins. Standard at CDIE. Rare at general dentist clinics. Prevents fracture and early failure.
MDS Prosthodontist — Not a GP
Dr. Jyoti Singh completed MDS from Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, Delhi. Prosthodontics is the speciality in aesthetics and tooth restoration.
IPS e.max — Ivoclar Switzerland Only
We use only IPS e.max by Ivoclar Vivadent. Global benchmark for aesthetic veneers. Not generic porcelain from an unverified lab.
Wax Preview as Standard
You see your new smile in your own mouth before any drilling. Not a screen image — a physical in-mouth preview on your actual face.
We Say No When Needed

Dental Veneers in Gurgaon — Questions Answered
Answered honestly from clinical experience.
Standard Emax veneers: 0.3–0.5mm enamel reduction from the front surface only.
- No-prep veneers: 0–0.3mm — only when teeth have sufficient space
- Goal: always stay within enamel — stronger bonding, longer lifespan
- Enamel removal is permanent — that tooth will always need a veneer after preparation
- Preparation depth is measured and controlled at CDIE
Yes. Veneers are safe when planned correctly. The biggest risk is improper case selection, not the veneer itself.
- Placing veneers on a patient with active gum disease or unmanaged grinding leads to failure
- Generic ceramic from unknown labs increases fracture risk
- Skipping bite assessment is the most common planning error
- With correct diagnosis, proper material, and specialist planning — veneers are very safe
No. The procedure is not painful. Local anaesthesia is given before preparation. Mild sensitivity after may last 1–2 days.
- Wax preview visit — no anaesthesia, no discomfort at all
- Preparation visit — anaesthesia given before any drilling
- Final bonding visit — usually no anaesthesia needed
Emax veneers: 3 visits over 7–10 days.
- Visit 1: Consultation, bite assessment, shade, wax preview
- Visit 2 (Day 2–3): Preparation, impressions to lab, temporaries placed
- Visit 3 (Day 7–10): Final placement and bite check
- Composite direct: 1 visit of 1–2 hours
- Most patients from Golf Course Road, DLF, and Sushant Lok complete in under 2 weeks
Yes. Veneers are the correct treatment for fluorosis.
- Whitening cannot fix fluorosis — the stain is inside the tooth structure
- Very common in Gurgaon due to higher groundwater fluoride in Haryana
- Emax veneers: mild-to-moderate fluorosis
- Zirconia veneers: severe or very dark fluorosis — better masking
Read more: Fluorosis treatment with veneers
Yes — but grinding must be managed first.
- Bite assessed carefully before planning in all bruxism patients
- Night guard prescribed and must be worn — not optional
- Emax CAD or Zirconia preferred — stronger than composite for grinders
- Very common among Gurgaon’s corporate professionals — manageable with right protocol
Porcelain veneers last 15–20 years. Composite veneers last 3–8 years.
- Composite Direct: 3–5 years
- Composite Lab: 7–8 years
- IPS e.max: 15–20 years — 91–94% survival at 10 years (Journal of Dentistry, 2019)
- Zirconia: 15–20+ years
Yes — when shade is chosen correctly for your skin tone.
- A shade natural on light skin can appear too white on wheatish or darker Indian complexions
- Shade selection at CDIE accounts for skin tone, lip colour, and facial proportions
- The wax preview lets you approve shade in your mouth in natural light before finalisation
Standard prep veneers are not reversible. No-prep veneers are.
- Enamel removed during standard prep does not grow back
- No-prep veneers: reversible since no enamel is taken
- After 15–20 years, Emax veneers can be replaced in a similar process
- We explain this clearly — it is part of informed consent before any patient proceeds
Yes. A single veneer is a completely valid treatment.
- One chipped, discoloured, or oddly shaped tooth can be corrected with one veneer
- Shade matching for a single veneer is technically demanding — must match adjacent natural teeth
- IPS e.max preferred for single tooth cases — natural translucency for better shade integration
- Much more conservative and affordable than a full-smile makeover when only one tooth is the concern
